rachelle the rabbit

Rachelle The Rabbit Distillery (RTR) was established in 2015 and is the first distillery in Singapore to receive a liquor production license from the Singapore Food Agency and Customs. From 2016 to 2019, RTR focused on producing natural fermented mead before transitioning into a distillery, launching the local craft spirits brand, Compendium Spirits. This brand, known for its unique Southeast Asian flavors, quickly gained acclaim, with its products making their way into high-end boutique hotels in Singapore (such as Raffles Hotel Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa, etc.) and some of the World's 50 Best Bars located in Singapore (such as Nutmeg & Clove, Native, Sago House, etc.).

In 2024, RTR acquired an independent facility located at 6 Chin Bee Crescent (6CBC), Singapore. The new facility is expected to begin production by the end of 2024, increasing RTR‘s annual spirit production capacity in Singapore from the current 60 tons to 600 tons, significantly enhancing whisky aging storage capacity as well.

arima nishiki

Arima Nishiki Shuzo (有馬錦, Arima Nishiki) is located in Hannō City, southwestern Saitama Prefecture, Japan, about 50 kilometers from the center of Tokyo. The area is surrounded by beautiful mountains such as Chichibu Mountain, Tenran Mountain, and Izugatake, resembling a natural painting. The famous Iruma River (入間川, Iruma-gawa) originates here, meandering through Hannō City and eventually joining the mighty Arakawa River in Kawagoe City. Hannō City is renowned for its ancient natural beauty and clear waters, earning it the historical reputation of "the town of green waters.”

The name Arima Nishiki (有馬錦) is inspired by Mount Arima (有間山, Arimayama), located less than 20 kilometers from the shuzo. The foot of this mountain is traversed by the Arima Gorge, which in autumn transforms into a kaleidoscope of colors, resembling a beautiful brocade. This vibrant autumn scenery inspired the brand's name, symbolizing the perfect blend of nature's gifts and the art of alcohol production.
